this was the first tune Naph-Tali ever cut for Jah Warrior, and was made
for a dance with Manasseh in 1988.

3 KEETY ROOTS - DUB 2. One of four dubs made for the sound just before
we played Jah Tubbys in Leicester in 1990, there was no time to think
of names for them, so they became known as “Dub 1”, 2, 3 +
4. This was the one which did the business that night.
4 RAMON JUDAH - COME TOGETHER. An unreleased tune by Liverpool singer
Ramon Judah and produced at Conscious Sounds studio, this always got the
crowd going.
5 TENA STELIN - FRET NOT. One of many Tena Stelin tunes recorded with
Keety Roots which never saw vinyl release, this was first played in a
session with Aba Shanti in Southend in 1992, and brought the house down
every time, especially the 3 dub cuts.
6 MIKE BROOKS - MONEY IS NOT ALL. Voiced on a Keety Roots recut of the
classic tune done for Fatman in 1980, Mike Brooks voiced this for one
sound and one sound only - Jah Warrior.
7 NAPH-TALI - REASON. Produced at the original Conscious Sounds studio
in Camden Town on four track cassette, Naph-Tali voiced this version of
the “Sword of Jah Mouth” tune, well known to all Shaka ites.
8 SLEEPEASY - JAH WARRIOR COME TO TAKE IT OVER. Produced at Blacka’s
Vibes Studio, an early dub featuring former Dennis Bovell associate John
Kpiaye on guitar.
9 ERROL BELLOT - STEP IT. Voiced live onto dubplate at Jah Tubbys old
studio in 1987, this was one of a number of specials voiced for the sound
by Errol Bellot.

rhythm, the title says it all - when a sound got feisty, this is what
they got thrown back at them.
